The Weekly Lift
Hi my loves,
Welcome to this week’s LIFT, after a little summer break.
Your Monday delivery of the things making my life brighter, and the beautiful finds I've come across on my daily travels that I think you’d love, too.
Grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

STYLE
Slow Love Knitwear
Why I love them: I’ve had my eye on the gorgeous, hand-knitted pieces from slow-fashion brand Slow Love for some time now.
Their garments are cool, beautifully made, with glowing reviews all around. Because they have a brilliant 30% off sale at the moment, I’ve decided it’s finally time to treat myself to a piece.
One of the main reasons I love them is their commitment to natural, breathable fibres, which is important for keeping our skin comfortable and cool.
The only problem is, I just can’t decide which design to buy! I’m currently torn between the retro, sunshine-yellow "Feel Good" jumper and the nostalgic "Young Hearts" knit. There is something very special about investing in a hand-knitted piece that you know you will cherish and wear for years.
Available at: Slow Love online.
Beauty
Boots Recycle Scheme
Why I love it: I started using the Boots Recycle Scheme towards the end of last year, and it has become a fun monthly habit. The concept is so simple: you bring in five empty containers that can't be recycled at home (this includes beauty empties like mascara tubes, but also medical packaging like empty blister packets), and Boots rewards you with 500 Advantage Card points (worth £5) when you spend £10 in store.
I do this once a month, using the trip to buy the everyday toiletries or make up I need anyway. By doing something good for the environment and buying my essentials, I’ve managed to build up a "treat pot" of points worth £45! I absolutely love this scheme because it costs nothing to do, keeps hard-to-recycle plastics out of landfills, and lets you save up for a lovely little beauty treat entirely guilt-free.
Available at: Participating Boots stores nationwide (you just need to download the Boots Recycling app to scan your empties and an Advantage Card to claim the points).
HOME LIFE
Sabre Paris, Bistrot Pearly, Teaspoon
Why I love it: I am a big believer in making the quiet, daily moments of our lives feel beautiful and special. It doesn’t have to be grand, expensive, or elaborate to make an impact. Sometimes, elevating the little things is what brings the most genuine joy to our days, even something as small as using a cool, colourful teaspoon for your morning coffee or your favourite yogurt bowl.
Sabre Paris is a gem of a brand. They make brilliantly playful cutlery in a gorgeous array of colours and patterns. Holding one of these beautiful teaspoons in the morning instantly makes your kitchen feel like a chic Parisian café. It’s a tiny, accessible luxury that reminds you to slow down and savour the simple things.
Available at: Sabre Paris online, plus boutique stockists like Arket, Liberty, and Selfridges.
Nourishment
Good 4U Sprouted Seeds
Why I love them: If you’re looking for an effortless way to pack a nutritional punch into your meals, these Good 4U Sprouted Seeds are a total kitchen winner. I love their versatility. While they are fantastic sprinkled over summer salads, my favourite way to eat them is piled high inside a sandwich. They add a delicious, fresh flavour and crispy texture that elevates a humble lunch.
Because sprouts are harvested just a few days after germination when they are at their absolute peak of nutritional value, they are a natural, ready-to-eat superfood. They are sustainably grown using just light, heat, and water, and are packed with protein, fibre, vitamins, and antioxidants. It's a simple, affordable way to squeeze some extra nutrients into your everyday meals.
Available at: Sainsbury's, Tesco, Ocado, and major supermarkets nationwide.
WELLBEING
Ankole Long Shoe Horn
Why I love it: Shoe horns certainly aren't anything new, but they often look like boring pieces of plastic medical equipment. We tend to hide them away in a cupboard or drawer and then we completely forget to use them!
That is why I love this beautiful long shoe horn from Ankole. It’s hand-crafted from genuine cow horn and finished with a lovely leather strap, meaning it is actually pretty enough to have on display right by your front door. Because it's long, it completely ends the struggle of bending down or straining to get into your shoes and boots, which is a total saviour if mobility or joint stiffness is an issue. It combines effortless practicality with a touch of natural elegance - in fact, I already have it marked down as a Christmas gift for some of my older family members.
Available at: Ankole online (and select independent home boutiques).
Movement
Themed Rides at Psycle, London
Why I love them: Let me start by saying: I am not a cyclist, and I really don't like serious spin classes. I have no interest in leaderboards, competing against anyone else, or tracking complicated stats. Instead, I like movement that feels like clubbing on a bike! For me, the ultimate way to do this is the themed rides at Psycle. I book a bike towards the back, spin and sing my heart out to the playlist.
The themed classes are brilliant because you can choose the exact music and artists you already love. I went to a Sean Paul ride and a Britney vs. Christina clash and both classes had me leaving the studio with my endorphins flying incredibly high. It is pure joy and such a fun release. The dark room means you can just lose yourself in the music, go at the pace you feel comfortable with without worrying about what anyone else is doing, and the energy is high.
Plus, the studios are lovely, stocked with Sachajuan products, so you can have a lovely shower and leave feeling completely refreshed.
Available at: Psycle London studios (including Oxford Circus, Shoreditch, Victoria, Notting Hill, Bank, and Clapham).
Top Tip: If you're new to Psycle, they do an intro offer of 3 classes for £50 so you can try it out and find your rhythm. Also, available on ClassPass.
