Welcome to this week’s LIFT.

Grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

STYLE
Massimo Dutti Wool Long Coat with Scarf
Why I love it: There's something about a long wool coat that makes almost anything underneath it look instantly more polished, and this one from Massimo Dutti has really caught my eye.
Made from 100% wool, it has an asymmetric collar with an integrated scarf detail, which gives it that effortless, thrown-together look while still feeling incredibly chic.
It's the kind of coat you can throw over jeans and trainers, workwear or something smarter and somehow the whole outfit just looks pulled together and stylish. And if, like me, you wear mainly black or darker colours, the cream adds a lovely freshness to the overall look.
There's a shorter jacket version too, if a long coat isn't your thing.

Nourishment
Biona Organic Pure 100% Cranberry Super Juice
Why I love it: UTIs can be an unwelcome reality for many women, including during cancer recovery or perimenopause. Whenever I develop one, cranberry juice is something I personally reach for alongside getting the appropriate medical treatment.
The important word here is juice. I buy Biona's Pure Cranberry Super Juice rather than a cranberry drink: it's 100% organic cranberry juice, with no added sugar, so unsurprisingly it's incredibly sharp! I dilute mine with water; still or sparkling, whatever's your jam.
I'm not going to lie, it's not the most pleasant drink. It's tart, even when diluted (I try for 50/50), but sometimes you just have to suck it up and get on with it!
Cranberry juice isn't a treatment for an existing UTI or a replacement for antibiotics when they're needed, so always seek appropriate medical advice for your symptoms.
Once opened it lasts for five days, so I freeze any leftover juice in an ice-cube tray rather than waste it.
Available at: Ocado and selected health-food retailers.
P.S. Make sure you buy the Biona Cranberry Juice, not the Cranberry Drink.
HOME LIFE
The White Company Bedroom Sale
Why I love it: If your bed linen is due a refresh, now is a very good time to look. No one does classic white cotton bedding quite like The White Company, and its bedroom sale currently includes some of the things I'd actually consider worth buying in a sale rather than simply being tempted by because they're reduced.
There are cotton and linen duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases, alongside mattress toppers, duvets and pillows - with plenty currently reduced by 30–40%.
Not an excuse to buy bedding you don't need, but a good opportunity to replace something you already know is on its way out.
Available at: The White Company

Next Faux Fur Hot Water Bottle Belt
Why I love it: This hot-water bottle from Next wraps around your waist so you can wear it across your stomach or lower back, with an adjustable fastening to keep it in place — essentially leaving your hands free while you potter around the house.
One for chilly evenings, period cramps, an achy back or simply those days when warmth feels comforting.

Essie Original Nail Polish in Wicked
Why I love it: Autumn is here, which means I'm ready to shift my colour palette along with my wardrobe.
I adore Wicked by Essie. It's a deep, dark burgundy that's so rich it can almost look black, and I particularly love it on short nails. Chic, slightly moody and exactly the kind of colour I want to wear at this time of year.
Sometimes a seasonal reset really can be as simple as changing your nail colour.
Available at: Boots, John Lewis and other Essie stockists.
Things To Do
Earl of East Candle Making Workshops
Why I love it: I've loved Earl of East candles for a while, not only for the natural wax and the way they burn, but for their sophisticated fragrance blends.
So if I were looking for something lovely to do with a friend or for a solo date, their candle making workshops would be high on my list.
They're designed for beginners and you get to experiment with fragrance, create your own blend and pour a natural soy-wax candle to take home. Earl of East has been running the workshops for more than 10 years, so I'd feel pretty confident I was in good hands. October dates are currently listed at £55.
And I rather like the idea of leaving with something you've made yourself rather than simply buying another candle.
Available at: Earl of East, Regent Street, London.
