STYLE
John Lewis Pure Silk Lace Trim Cami Top
Why I love it: A high-quality silk cami is the ultimate wardrobe workhorse. I’ve had a plain black silk cami in my wardrobe for years, and it is a staple all year round - layered under jackets and cardies in the winter, worn on its own with shorts in the summer, or rolled up in my suitcase for beachside dinners. It’s simply one of those perfect, timeless pieces.
With the 90s trend everywhere this year, the lace-trimmed cami has made a welcome comeback (bringing back some very fun memories!). While there are lots of options on the high street, this is the best one I’ve found. It’s grown-up, beautifully cut, and made of 100% silk (natural fibers always).
I like it so much that I recently bought the black version as a birthday gift for one of my besties, Laura, and I’m heading back to John Lewis next week to snap up the white one for myself!
Available: John Lewis (in-store and online)
NOURISHMENT
Tajín Clásico Seasoning
Why I love it: This iconic Mexican seasoning is about to become your new best friend. Made from a simple, zesty blend of mild chilli peppers, sea salt, and dehydrated lime, it’s not overwhelmingly spicy - instead, it gives a bright, citrusy, salty tang that makes almost anything taste incredible.
Getting your daily dose of fresh fruit can sometimes feel like a bit of a chore, especially if your appetite is low or treatment has left things tasting a little bland. Tajín is my favourite hack for this, it completely transforms raw fruit, making things like mango, pineapple, watermelon, or even crunchy cucumber feel exciting, juicy, and seriously addictive. Without any added sugar, it’s just pure, mouth-watering flavour to help you get those vital nutrients in. Try it shaken over avocado toast or popcorn, too!
Available: Sainsbury’s, WholeFoods, or your local Mexican supermarket.
HOME LIFE
Daylesford Slip Green Salad Bowl (40cm)
Why I love it: This stunning, oversized stoneware bowl from Daylesford is a piece of functional art. Hand-finished with a gorgeous green slip glaze, no two pieces are exactly the same, giving it a modern, yet rustic feel.
After treatment, food can sometimes start to feel a bit functional or overwhelming. I love this bowl because it brings the joy back into nourishing yourself and your loved ones. Piling it high with a vibrant, colorful salad, fresh fruit, or pasta makes the simple act of serving a meal feel like a celebration. It’s an investment piece that brings a little bit of organic beauty into your kitchen and dining table.
Available from: Daylesford Organic (online or in their farm shops)
WELLBEING
Westlab Epsom Bath Salts
Why I love them: I’ve been dealing with some painful cramps in my feet lately, which means I'm low in magnesium/potassium, so I grabbed a bag of these on my way home from work.
While luxury aromatherapy bath salts are beautiful, sometimes you just need a quick, highly effective, and budget-friendly fix. These 100% pure, pharmaceutical-grade magnesium salts are absolutely brilliant. Dissolving a few cups in a warm tub allows the magnesium to absorb through your skin, helping to ease joint stiffness, relax tight muscles, and soothe cramps.
Because they are completely natural and fragrance-free, they are incredibly gentle on sensitive, recovering skin.
Available: Supermarkets, Boots, and pharmacies nationwide.
MOVEMENT
Nike Strength Dumbbells (Starting at 1kg)
Why I love them: If you are gently rebuilding your strength post-surgery or treatment, starting light is key.
I’ve tried a few different types of dumbbells across different gyms over the years, and these are the ones I enjoy using the most. Some lightweight home weights can feel a bit flimsy. These ones from Nike Strength feel sturdy. Starting at just 1kg, they are great quality with a professional, textured grip that feels robust and comfortable in your hand.
There is something so psychologically empowering about using gear that feels "pro" rather than "clinical" as you work on your recovery. I always feel strong holding these.
A reminder: If you are starting to strength-train after surgery, please seek guidance from an oncology physio or your medical team first to make sure you are lifting safely.
Available: Nike Strength online, and selected sports retailers.
BEAUTY
Medik8 Advanced Night Restore
Why I love it: This is a firm repeat purchase for me. I’m a huge Medik8 fan, as are several women in my life—each of us using a different range of their products to suit our skin. But for me, this is my personal fav.
It’s an "overnight hug in a jar." I normally can't wear thick creams as they clog my pores, but this is one of the very few I've found that doesn't do that. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now, ever since I started introducing retinol into my routine, which requires a really good, supportive moisturizer alongside it.
It is deeply hydrating and nourishing, but crucially, it never feels heavy or congesting. Packed with skin-loving ceramides, I wake up with plump, fresh, and genuinely comforted skin.
Available: Space NK, Cult Beauty, or directly from Medik8 online.
And that’s this week’s Lift!
